Race: Half-Halfling Ling is a half-halfling of deceptive strength and unyielding spirit. While most in the forest city stay grounded by the weight of their toil, Ling looks upward. She is a specialized laborer who ventures into the towering canopies of the Grimhaven Forest, using heavy climbing harnesses to tap the thick, amber-colored resins used in the town's ritual fires. When she isn't suspended high above the earth, she is on the ground, swinging a felling axe with the practiced rhythm of a master woodworker. She speaks with a melodic, rolling accent—a "French" she lives by a simple, rugged code: you earn your keep through the sweat of your brow and the callouses on your palms, and you never take more from the forest than you are willing to defend. |
